Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms and behaviors. Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions. Provides guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues. Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices.
Job Description Summary The ideal candidate should possess a Master's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 15+ years of High Performance physical design solutions Implementation experience.Within this team, you and your team will be specifically responsible for the physical/structural design including floor-planning, synthesis, APR, static-timing, electrical/reliability analysis, full chip compositions, tape-ins and more. We are looking for someone who has passion around improving the way we solve complex problems through the work of your team as well as your own direct contributions. As a backend implementation Leader you will: Lead a team of experienced as well as junior engineers, provide technical and execution clarity and ensure project execution goals are met with discipline Coaching and developing your employees for optimal performance and productivity Planning, managing team members' tasks, and directing engineering activities to meet product requirements, schedules, standards, and costs.Work extensively with micro-architects to define SOC, perform feasibility, make area/frequency/performance/power trade-offs and design & balance the pipeline stages. Drive RTL-to-GDS flow through synthesis and place-and-route targeting aggressive targets for power, performance, and area. Work with cross-functional engineering team to implement and validate physical design on the aspects of timing, area, reliability and power. Ability to effectively lead and contribute to cross-functional teams, Exceptional decision making skills with a focus on quickly delivering results, Strong planning, project management, and problem solving skills, Experience using synthesis & place-route & timing analysis tools, Knowledge of logic design principles along with timing and power implications, Understanding of low power micro architecture and implementation techniques.
