The AVP/VP, Finance Director, will develop, implement and maintain an effective planning and analysis capability that will provide senior leadership with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance of the portfolio of services provided by SFS.
Responsibilities:

Monthly Reporting and Forecasting
Prepare consolidated Financial Services results, including review and reconciliation of portfolio and drafting monthly senior management memo
Present results to Managing Director and Director of FP&A, interpreting and explaining drivers of key variances
Balance Sheet reconciliation and analysis for Financial Services companies
Analyze and interpret forecast results with Financial Services team and update senior management
Prepare consolidated Financial Services forecast and prepare monthly forecast memo for Controller group and management review

Annual Planning
Compile the annual consolidated Financial Services Plan (Budget) in conjunction with the Financial Services Managing Director and present to executive management

Other Duties
Oversee the daily operations of the SFS team, providing managerial support to Financial Analyst
Provide various ad-hoc analysis as required within Finance for the Controller and NA Finance Director and for senior management across the business
Lead quarterly reporting requirements for Financial Services provided to Corporate Controller Group
Analyze accounting issues for various deal scenarios, as required.
Play an active role in Business Process refinement, as required
Qualifications:

MBA preferably in Economics, Finance or Accounting, from a top tier school
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or other comparable combination of education, training and experience
Strong financial and analytical skills. Familiarity with utilizing statistics in a business setting
Previous experience managing a highly performing team of managers
Problem-solving with proficiency in accounting concepts, financial modeling and valuation analysis
Strong customer focus and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under deadline constraints
Self-starter, motivated, organized and confident
Ability to articulate with strong presentation skills, excellent written communication abilities and contribute to executive-level discourse
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
