The responsibilites of this position are: to build and develop existing and new Employee Benefit Dental, Vision & GAP Medical products; serve as the internal and external evangelist for the product offering; work with Actuarial, Marketing, Operations, Sales, Underwriting and external vendors regarding product development, product pricing, product positioning, key benefits, network management and target customers. Manage the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research.
Qualifications
Experience: 5- 8 years of experience with employee benefit products, including 3-5 years previous group dental & vision product management experience. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of group dental & vision products and networks, core business functions, pricing, marketing and financial analysis. Excellent verbal and written communication skill is necessary to effectively influence, train others, present information. Ability to drive for results, deal with ambiguity, solve problems, learn on the fly, make decisions, see trends/patterns. Excellent project management skills are necessary.
