Based at our Regional Headquarters in Scoresby, Melbourne and reporting to the Managing Director CSP, this role is not only responsible for the delivery of HSE functional services but is also accountable for ensuring our progression to an environment of zero harm and an interdependent HSE culture.
Primary outcomes in this business critical role will be continuous improvement on the HSE strategy, execution of key HSE initiatives, the development of a proactive HSE culture (focused on hazard and risk identification/management) and the development of your regionally located HSE leadership team. Additionally, you will lead the review and implementation of HSE polices and processes in line with organisational requirements and maintain the certification of HSE management systems to international standards.
We are seeking applications from those who possess:
A tertiary qualification in a related discipline complemented by additional studies/accreditation in the areas of Health, Safety, Wellness or Environment
At least 10 years’ robust senior leadership experience within a large complex multinational organisation
In depth knowledge and understanding of HSE legislation across Australia and New Zealand (any experience with PNG will also be highly regarded)
A high-level of written, verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to manage and influence internal and external stakeholders across a matrix style environment
Demonstrated history in building, coaching and mentoring team/s of highly skilled and experienced HSE professionals
