Director Client Reporting And SLA Performance UnitedHealth Group Dublin

This position plays a pivotal role in advancing transparency in Risk Adjustment processes and performance with our internal and external customer groups. Specifically, the Director of Client Reporting & SLA Performance Management (Risk Adjustment) will lead a global team responsible for advancing and developing reporting solutions and performance management programs that will better track Risk Adjustment services performance against client expectations. This leader will help to develop innovative data visualization strategies, performance reporting routines, and information demand systems that will allow UnitedHealth Group to be more nimble in its ability to answer requests from client, regulators, and meet the demands of operations in understanding key value drivers within Risk Adjustment services processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Quickly navigate the UnitedHealth Group organization to understand existing strategic initiatives pertaining to Risk Adjustment reporting, and determine strategies to integrate with and build upon existing and planned toolsets
Understand client requests, create strategies to track former requests and predict future needs
Identify technologies that will assist in creating flexible Risk Adjustment reporting systems
Lead teams to partner with technology organization in driving greater self - service and web - enabled reporting for RQNS customers
Understand client contracts and SLAs / performance guarantees, adapting reporting solutions and operations metrics management routines that identify potential shortfalls early
Advice product / commercial teams in the structure of SLAs within Risk Adjustment services contracts in order to further drive client satisfaction while managing client expectations
Lead and evolve existing services in order to meet quality, cost and service objectives, while ensuring that all client deliverables are completed on-time and meet expectations
Innovates new solutions / capabilities by working with key stakeholders within the RQNS Business, Product, and Technology teams
Maintain the necessary communication and coordination with colleagues, stakeholders, and clients
Develops management talents necessary to obtain short- and long-range goals by effective direction, counseling, and training according to an overall human capital plan
Develop and maintain an effective organization through the selection, training, and motivation of all personnel
Analyze and appraise, regularly and systematically, the effectiveness of all reporting capabilities to ensure that established objectives will be met, that company polices will be observed, and that prompt corrective action will be taken when necessary
Direct immediate subordinates in the management of their assigned areas to ensure that their responsibilities and performance are met in a way that is consistent with established policies and programs


Requirements

Required Qualifications:
Degree qualified in relevant field (economics, business, finance, accounting, engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience
Proven leadership experience at Director level
Significant experience with data management, analytics, reporting and operations metrics development
Extensive experience with data visualization techniques and tools including Tableau
Proven experience of establishing process reporting models combined with setting up new business units / divisions
Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of service - oriented (web - enabled) reporting solutions and configurable reports
Familiarity with data management and data quality initiatives
Previous people management experience
Excellent communication and presentation style
Significant experience driving new strategies and solutions to market
Up to 25%, including international travel
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in related industry (healthcare, insurance, finance)
Familiarity with US healthcare system and Risk Adjustment as administered in concert with Medicare Advantage products or healthcare exchanges products governed by the Affordable Care Act
Understanding of software development life cycle and Agile framework
Post - graduate degree in relevant field of study (ex. - JD, MBA, PhD, MA or MS Finance / Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering)
Multiple experiences across landscape (consulting, insurance, financial operations)
Previous experience working in a large multinational organization
