Senior Director AP Market Enablement Visa San Francisco

The Senior Director – AP Product and Market Enablement is responsible for working with Visa’s Regional Product and Solutions team and the Global Product teams to build executable country level strategies. The PME team adds value by building and maintaining an engagement model that ensures Regional business needs are well understood across Global teams and that the Regional team understands how best to deploy in their markets new services and capabilities enabled by the Global teams. This individual must be able to manage executive-level relationships while optimizing and executing on the overall strategy. This San Francisco or Foster City based position will report to the Head of PME Market Enablement. Extended international travel required.
Responsibilities:

Collaborates with AP Product and Solutions leadership to develop a holistic approach to enabling Visa products and services across the Region
Manages the Regional/Global engagement model.
Holds the Regional team responsible for clearly articulating their needs and commercial rationale
Holds the Global product teams responsible for delivery on commitments
Advocates for the Region’s priorities and represents the voice of the Region
Understands the breadth of the AP marketplace dynamics including the payment regulatory and processing environments
Partners with other functional areas, ensuring identification and alignment of opportunities and recommendations to improve scalability
Provides subject matter expertise and business development support to Regional teams
Ensures product launches are successful
Qualifications

10+ years of relevant product management and related program management experience, preferably in the payments industry.
Track record of developing and communicating a strategy, building relationships across teams and key stakeholders to achieve business goals.
Deep experience in managing complex programs and problems
Must have a "Can do" attitude and will do what it takes in order to move a program forward
In-depth knowledge and understanding of Visa’s strategy, products and services
Excellent verbal and written skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex technical and business issues and solutions to a variety of stakeholders
Must have great presentation skills and be comfortable presenting material in front of large audiences
Advanced degree is strongly preferred
