We are seeking a strong creative leader to join our internal creative studio team. The ideal candidate is someone that’s passionate about storytelling and the opportunity to transform a brand through brilliant and inspiring creative. We’re looking for a strategic and nimble thinker that is self-motived and anxious to be part of one of the most dynamic industries right now, mobile payments
We want an idea-first Art Director with a portfolio that demonstrates a love for conceptual thinking. Someone that has the unique ability to take their ideas and bring them to life in new and inspiring ways.
You will help the way that our brand voice is infused into every customer touch point. By combining your strategic vision, strong marketing insights, creativity, and understanding of the PayPal feature set, you’ll invent world-class creative ideas that push the PayPal brand forward.


Our Creative Studio is responsible for helping millions of people around the world understand how PayPal provides a better way for you to manage and move your money. We design communications for both current and perspective users – This includes brand marketing, brand identity & design, social media content, films, internal comms, and user education


What you’ll do

Conceptualize and share new ideas that help propel our brand forward
Own the process to develop branded content through to final execution
Work closely with teams across the company to fully materialize your vision
Partner with a writer to execute creative work across: Marketing, Brand, PR, and Social.
Develop a newsroom-style method of social media content creation

You’re a creator and a storyteller
You embrace the creative process as a contact sport
You have a strong point of view on art direction / beautiful design
You are a luminary, and make content creators want to follow you

Requirements

Must have portfolio link on resume
A liberal arts background with evidence of breadth and performance
5-10 years of professional art direction / design experience (agency or client side)
Examples of best in Art Direction for a global brand(s)
Well-developed communication skills including ability to present creative ideas to others
Strong production experience with extensive knowledge of the in-and-outs of bringing creative work to market
Independent worker, responsible for finding, starting, managing, finishing his/her own projects
You’re also able to articulately defend your creative decisions and accept creative input from all sides
Ability to work within tight deadlines and adjust to changes in priorities
Fun, energetic and collaborative personality
