Facebook is seeking an experienced leader to develop and manage partnerships with global financial institutions, leading commerce platforms and industry leaders. The Payments & Commerce Partnerships team at Facebook is responsible for developing and managing global relationships with the financial services, payments and commerce industry. As a global platform, it is our responsibility to establish meaningful relationships with key ecosystem stakeholders; and manage C-suite relationships to deliver mutually beneficial products and services.
As well as being the voice of FB to the industry, it is just as important to be the voice of the industry within the organization. Your team partners closely with multiple product and engineering groups within Facebook, as we work to build opportunities and experiences that create scale and meaningful ecosystem value. The ideal candidate is passionate about the future of commerce and payments and believes in the transformative force of social platforms to drive a more connected and open world. You will manage a high-performing team of strategic partnership managers that will oversee partnerships with world leading payments and commerce platforms, as well as the world’s largest financial institutions. The team will work across the Facebook family of apps to deliver products and services that drive greater prosperity for individuals, communities and businesses. We are looking for a collaborative and self-aware leader who is mission-focused and believes in the power of collaboration to drive superior results on teams. This position is full-time and can be based in our main office in Menlo Park, California or in our offices in New York City. 50%+ Travel is expected and anyone located in New York will need to include additional travel to spend time in Facebook HQ as well as on location with partners.
Responsibilities

Manage existing relationships with banks, consumer financial services, payment & technology service providers
Manage existing partnerships and work with product and engineering to identify new growth opportunities
Manage a high-performing team of Strategic Partnership Managers that will oversee partnerships with payments and commerce platforms, as well as financial institutions
Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Marketing
Inform, influence, support, and execute our product decisions
Track, analyze, influence, and communicate key metrics
Minimum Qualifications

15+ years related experience working within or managing global consumer financial services
Experience in commerce partnerships and commerce platforms
Capable of presenting ideas to external and internal audiences on emerging opportunities in payments and commerce
Experience in partner management, a track record of influencing change within organizations, and the ability to synthesize and execute against problems and timelines
Industry, media and conference speaking experience required
Experience developing, negotiating and signing industry leading deals with market share leaders to deliver unique and compelling value to the ecosystem
Quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities coupled with knowledge of operating principles.
Project management leadership experience, capable of leading multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects across a large and distributed cross-functional team
Experience engaging with C-level of any partner organization
BA required
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in both in North America and international
Fluency in more than one language
MBA or MS Degree or equivalent experience
