Director Switching & Cloud Software Product Marketing Juniper Networks Sunnyvale

We are looking for an articulate, passionate and driven leader who will have overall responsibility and accountability for the development and evangelization of Juniper’s switching and cloud software positioning and messaging as well as with the development and execution of initiatives to drive this messaging into the market. This leader will lead a team that is charged with more effectively engaging with our sellers and customers at a strategic business level while clearly articulating Juniper’s switching & cloud software value proposition, especially as it relates to data center operations. This will include targeted marketing messages, programs, campaigns, and other activities aligned with our switching nad cloud software product and solution portfolio with the ultimate goal of identifying how Juniper can help solve our customer’s business challenges. You must communicate and collaborate effectively within the business units as well as across the company, including Product Line Management, Technical Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Services Marketing, Field Marketing, AR, PR, Alliance Marketing, Channel operations, and directly with partners and customers. You will support the go-to-market programs including launch planning, collateral, customer presentations, videos, and sales training materials.
Specific responsibilities include:

Define key buyers and influencers and develop compelling messaging appropriate for each
Excellent story teller with the ability to translate sophisticated and complex technical features into clear, compelling, and memorable stories of end customer value by audience type
Drive a consistent business-value message into all Juniper marketing messages and activities.
Should be very comfortable with networking, switching and cloud software technologies and demonstrate industry awareness.
Develop go-to-market product and launch strategy, and work with cross-functional marketing/product management/corporate marketing teams to execute high-impact fully-integrated programs that drive pipeline growth, market leadership and awareness
Develop and deliver persuasive presentations including executive briefings, analyst briefings, press briefings, industry events, webcasts, and trade shows.
Anticipate and address needs of various sales and partner channels and geographies
Create content including product datasheets, presentations, white papers, demos, blogs, webcasts, Web content and needle-moving sales/partner enablement tools.


Required Skills and Qualifications Include:

Proven management skills to deliver high performance results while maintaining a highly motivated team.
Extensive knowledge of cloud software/cloud operations with strong understanding of switching and general networking technologies as well as demonstrated industry awareness.
Highly motivated self-starter with strong marketing and project management skills, experienced in cross functional team development in a matrix organization
Minimum 9-12 years of marketing experience with strong understanding of the Service Provider industry
Proven business and analytical skills to conduct market analysis, and develop and execute GTM plans.
Must have excellent written communications and strong presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to meet or beat assigned targets and deadlines consistently
Outstanding ability to work well cross functionally (Team/BU) and with partners and customers.
Keen interest in technology, the ability to identify and explain technology, product, and market differentiators.
BS/BA in a technical or marketing discipline required, MBA preferred
