Intuit’s Small Business Group (SBG), a global team serving the needs of over 2 million small businesses and self-employed, is looking for a Director of Digital Communications with a passion for innovation to help us revolutionize the way the small businesses run their business. The Director of Digital Communications will report to the VP of Integrated Marketing Communications for SBG and is based in Mountain View, CA. This leader will provide leadership to the Digital Advertising Marketing team consisting of ~32 marketing professionals across QB.com, SEO, OA, Paid, Social and In-Product Discovery.
As leader of the Digital Advertising Team, you will co-create a business strategy that accelerates growth of QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Self-Employed against the market opportunity; then develop a marketing strategy that delivers on the growth
Lead digital strategy execution including prospecting and retargeting across SEM, Social, Display and Affiliate channels
Build world class mobile advertising capabilities and pioneer new technologies and platforms, including but not limited to Voice, Bots and Contextual In App advertising
Build web and mobile analytic capabilities throughout the team and company
You will attract and excite internal and external partners about the potential surrounding the these offerings, and collaborate effectively to achieve common goals
Drive financial performance and analytics through game changing capabilities and technology that will improve ROI
You will build and manage a motivated, high-performing team of ~32 marketers, to drive excellent execution of the strategy
You will reliably deliver on annual customer growth goals
You will monitor business performance on a weekly basis, identifying root causes for past performance, and additional levers for future performance
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in online acquisition (paid search, mobile and social advertising, display advertising and platforms)
Track record for developing break-through digital strategies AND inspiring excellent execution through teams
Experience leveraging the products to drive marketing… well-versed in “growth hacking” practices
Proven experience driving trajectory changing results and influencing strategy with breakthrough iniatives in new channels and technologies
Background in mobile… a deep understanding of mobile behaviors, and how that translates to building delightful mobile products, and impactful mobile marketing
Data-driven… understands and has experience leveraging data to create delightful end-to-end marketing and product experiences
Track record in driving rapid growth, and delivering on expected growth goals
Proven success in partnering, influencing, and collaborating internally and externally to establish shared passion and goals
