This person is responsible globally for; Strategy; Planning, Forecasting (>70%), cost reduction (3% QoQ) On time delivery (>98%), Supply base and Inventory (>12 turns). Working cross-functionally and with senior executives in Santa Clara and Fort Lauderdale, this person will combine strategic vision, leadership skills, and industry expertise to drive strategies to create the best-in-class supply chain and logistics operations. Current physical supply chain scope includes 3-factories in AMER, EMEA, APJ and 80+ RMA depots worldwide.
Manage and develop global team, including hiring, goal setting, performance management, coaching, project assignments, training and adherence to company vision. Ideal candidate will be thought leader capable of operating in a heavily leveraged model, i.e., direct team is small but indirect EMS team is large.
Supplier Management, Planning, Forecasting, and Inventory Optimization
Develop daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual volume plans for each facility to ensure sufficient capacity and that the facilities have appropriate staff levels
Develop inventory allocation strategies to maximize the efficiencies of our network to ensure the highest possible return on our cost investments. Considerations include geographical demand, facility capacity and capability, inbound and outbound transportation costs, product affinity. VMI Kan Ban Sizing expertise for raw and FGI.
Serve as business owner of the Inventory and drive development projects to improve asset utilization.
