We are looking to add a key player and thought-leader to our team to lead the cloud Security Team. As a seasoned, highly motivated Engineering Manager,
You own end to end cloud security, from infrastructure to network to application to regulations and beyond.
You define both roadmaps and technical choices, strategic and tactical.
You are extremely well versed in modern security practices, especially using automation and modern tooling to analyze, detect, remediate and enforce.
You will have had experience in such an environment and has high standards set for their own delivery of quality in everything that they do.
You are a great leader, able to drive, motivate, guide and support people in their day to day tasks as well as their career development.
You will work from either San Jose or San Francisco location

Always learning new things in your domain.
Have a strong technical background in security engineering, security protocols, such as authentication, key management.
Excellent knowledge of information security standards & best practices.
Demonstrated experience in enterprise cloud security architecture design and implementation.
Very strong experience in cloud-based infrastructure, and application delivery for major cloud-based services.
Strong coding experience, and preferably with security type software (e.g. openssl, etc.) and ability to lead small teams of software developers
Superior organizational and relationship skills – effectively interact with people at every level of the organization.
You can both evaluate competitive offerings, guide strategic planning, and implement applications, with speed and at scale.
What you will be doing
Drive and implement the team’s vision for secure cloud platform, from infrastructure to network to API to applications and interaction with devices.
Lead the integration and implementation of tools and services for security testing, authentication, authorization, data security and privacy, policy management, auditing and compliance.
Conduct or oversee system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments.
Integrate security tooling within the platform's continuous delivery pipeline.
Advise during planning, software architecture and design, provide guidance, and perform reviews.
Lead your team to realize your objectives.
Build relationships with other engineering & business groups to streamline efforts and improve existing processes.
Work with other leaders within the team toward achieving overall cross functional program objectives
Provide clear written communications on your team’s objectives, on your designs, key results, and progress
Provide presentations to security and non-security audience inside or outside the company.
