The Director of Brand Communications will drive communications for Time Inc.’s world-class lifestyle brands. This person will oversee sports for Time Inc., Video and The Foundry. Brands within that are SI, SI Swimsuit, FanSided, SI Play, Golf, SI Kids, LifeVR, TheDrive. Reporting to the SVP, Brand Communications, the Director is part of a team that also oversees communications for SI Swimsuit, video initiatives, and The Foundry. He/She will play an instrumental role in developing the brand identity for three company divisions and will work directly with the trade community focusing on digital, TV/Video and advertising media.
Be a partner in developing the communications strategy and be responsible for its execution.
Lead media relations and proactive outreach to support multi-platform media brands and their world-class portfolio of digital, video, print, licensing, e‑commerce, social and events.
Work closely with senior brand leadership as well as brand communications and corporate communications colleagues.
Partner with marketing teams to create PR programs to support advertising clients.
Assist with the development, planning and execution of PR strategies and project management for new initiatives and high-profile events.
Devise and execute modern communications strategies that maximize social media, earned media and marketing programs.

You have:
At least 6 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Wide-ranging media contacts, especially in the lifestyle industry.
Executed a soup-to-nuts communications program, including strategy, execution and goal assessment.
Led communications for events of various size and scope.
Secured impactful media coverage across digital, print and broadcast outlets.
Successfully adapted to the modern era of public relations and the paid, earned, owned formula.
The ability to multitask, adapting to an extremely fast-paced environment
Very strong communication and writing skills.
