This position is responsible to develop and lead the execution of transformational warehouse initiatives with primary focus on warehouse automation
This position is responsible to develop and lead the execution of the NAB warehouse automation program. Automating manual operations in our DSD warehouses is major productivity plank in the NAB PSP and role is planned in the 2017 AOP. Role would own all aspects of detailing out the program and executing the projects within the program.
Develop detailed execution plan for deploying automation technology against the NAB manual labor functions
Align with engineering team on technologies to deliver labor savings
Align with finance ,M&W, and GTM leadership on order and cadence of automation projects
Lead development of change management program to support the significant changes brought about by automation
Lead the execution of warehouse automation strategy to deliver onPSP productivity commitments
Define and lead the staffing of project teams to execute individual projects
Lead the development of detailed network analysis andCapex approval for automation projects
Lead the work with real estate team to develop and execute infrastructure portfolio changes
Lead the project execution including network transformation and equipment start up
Coach project team resources on all aspects of project execution
Lead the warehouse automationAOP andPSP planning processes
Work with warehouse strategy leadership to integrate automation with the other warehouse transformation initiatives
Participate in the development and leadership of additional warehouse transformation initiatives to support the productivity agenda
Qualifications:
Experience leading broad business changes that span multiple functions
10+ years experience working in leadership roles across the DSD supply chain
Strong understanding ofDSD warehouse operations including all steps from order placement to loaded delivery truck
Inventory and dispatch processes
Order picking and truck loading processes
Interfaces between DSD warehouses and cross docks
Experience coaching other leaders to deliver against difficult business objectives
