CBS EcoMedia is seeking a talented and experienced Director, Program Operations and Impact to work as a key member of the EcoMedia National Programs team. Reporting to the SVP, Operations and Strategic Partner Development, the Director, Program Operations and Impact is responsible for supporting the operational success of EcoMedia’s National Programs, ensuring growth and development in community projects, partnerships and social impacts; designing and implementing critical program management and operating systems; managing quality control, data collection and program evaluation; and supporting effective team management and development.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Provide day-to-day oversight of all aspects of program execution and provide strategic guidance to the EcoMedia National Programs team. Supervise the EcoMedia project portfolio, assign projects to individual Project Managers, and serve as a resource to the National Programs team as individual members implement and execute projects with brands and nonprofits.

Monitor overall project quality and ensure exceptional client service and nonprofit support. Develop and implement strategies, together with EcoMedia team members that will maximize collaboration across business functions and among the National Programs team.

Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of National Programs through improvements to program management approaches and operational systems; develop and implement tools to strengthen project and program delivery and reporting, and increase impact for nonprofits and communities; and enhance coordination and communication between National Programs and other business functions for overall growth in sales performance, client engagement and program impact.

Serve as a key liaison to legal counsel in addressing legal issues related to nonprofit and government agency agreements. In collaboration with legal counsel and members of the National Programs team negotiate agreements with nonprofits and government agencies. Support contract management, review and monitor all project documentation and legal agreements, and ensure all agreements are properly documented and filed.

Review nonprofit project agreements and statement of work documents (which serve as the "grant agreements") and nonprofit completion reports as needed; conduct overarching grants oversight for all active projects; and, conduct data analysis on program performance.

Monitor National Programs data management systems (including Salesforce) to ensure accurate and up to the minute data related to all facets of program management including current nonprofit partnerships, contacts, legal agreements, business development, projects, impact reporting, etc.

Ensure better management reporting across all aspects of National Programs; help EcoMedia ask the right questions and collect the right data; help produce quarterly and annual reviews of EcoMedia’s social impact, key trends, data, and learnings.

As needed, cultivate existing relationships and help develop new relationships with nonprofits and government agencies with the goal of ensuring a robust portfolio of strong and ongoing social impact partnerships.

In partnership with the National Programs staff, and in close collaboration with the SVP, help lead the development of annual and long-term work plans. Oversee and drive plan implementation and review.

In partnership with National Programs, Sales and Creative, develop strategies to communicate and share stories and information about EcoMedia’s National Programs and social impacts.

Monitor and evaluate the skill, experience, and professional development needs of National Programs staff, and help implement a professional development program to address employee experience and skill gaps.

QUALIFICATIONS:

10+ years experience in project management, relationship management, and client services required. Management consulting experience is a plus.

Master’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, social entrepreneurship or related field is preferred.

Functional knowledge of nonprofits, government, and corporate social responsibility, some direct experience preferred.

Functional knowledge of TV, radio and online advertising.

Work well under pressure with a strong sense of urgency.

Team-oriented, strategic thinker with ability to work independently.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong knowledge of Salesforce a plus.

Interest in and commitment to creating positive social impact.

Consistently looks for and identifies opportunities to increase individual and organizational performance.

Remain solution-oriented among adversity and display a positive approach to all problems.
