Director Digital Analytics NBCUniversal Media Universal City

The Director, Digital Analytics will lead the analytics development, implementation, reporting and optimization of the USH web properties. This position will manage an analytics “Center of Excellence” on the digital team, and develop actionable insights and recommendations to improve the user experience, engagement and monetization of the sites and all digital marketing channels (display, search, social, etc).
Leadership
•Lead a team of digital analytics specialists to develop strategies that optimize the website and media channels to meet or exceed business goals
•Lead the development and maintenance of dashboards, metric reports and other ad hoc analyses.
•Lead the A/B testing program through the design, creation, execution and analyses of A/B and multivariate tests to optimize the site for core business goals.
•Be the resident expert on digital analytics and data capture
•Passionate about data and building a data driven organization
•Hold vendors and 3rd party partners to high standards for delivering quality work and data

Strategy and Insights
•In partnership with other Marketing functional leads, develop a segmentation strategy to support prospecting, nurturing, lead reconstitution, personalization and testing.
•Drive the implementation, maintenance, accuracy and improvement of web analytics data capture, systems and tools.
•Interact with and support a variety of teams and individuals within the organization to make data-driven business decisions aimed at growth.
•Help to enhance our available systems and processes to drive data cleanliness, efficiency and growth.
•Develop regular insights on website performance and make recommendations to channel owners for performance improvements, including pricing.
Qualifications/Requirements •Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics.
•7+ years of experience in web analytics with an understanding of how to leverage data to make informed business decisions.
•Proficiency with web analytics and industry-standard web analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics (Omniture), Coremetrics or WebTrends.
•Excel and PowerPoint skills.
•Ability to troubleshoot, identify patterns, and generate new approaches to reporting.
•Ability to understand and help gather business reporting requirements that meet business needs.
•Organized, reliable self-starter with strong creative thinking, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and interpersonal skills.
•Experience with A/B and multivariate testing tools such as Test&Target, SiteSpect, Monetate or Maxymiser.
•Understanding of web analytics implementation and tag management software such as Tealium or Ensighten.
•Experience with business intelligence platforms such as MicroStrategy or Tableau.
•Working knowledge of basic web technologies (JavaScript, Flash, SQL, HTML, web platforms and browsers, APIs, CMS and CRM systems).
•Outstanding verbal/written communication, including presentation skills.
Desired Characteristics •Statistical modeling experience, including attribution modeling and predictive modeling.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in developing compelling presentations and presenting to senior management
•Equally effective and influential communicator in formal and informal settings with senior executives, peers, and potential business partners
