This job leads the financial planning, forecasting and strategic plan processes for PepsiCo's Stock Compensation & Benefits programs. It also oversees the planning, forecasting and analysis of the Corporate HR Departments and the HR Shared Services horizontal. The position reports into the Senior Director, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis and has two direct reports. The position also has a high degree of visibility and interaction with head of HR and SVP of Financial Planning and Analysis.

Operational lead on Stock Comp / Benefits Rate Letter process; manage analysis and consolidation of data inputs and subsequent dissemination of expenses to business leaders.
Analyze and provide visibility on the financial impact of financial, demographic, and corporate assumptions for all PepsiCo Compensation & Benefits programs.
Provide financial guidance to Compensation & Benefits leadership team as program strategies are developed.
Perform management reporting for all benefits programs for Retirement, Group Insurance, and Equity Programs.
Own the allocation methodology and allocation of Compensation & Benefits expenses to each of the Divisions/Sectors.
Coordinate amongst Accounting, Compensation & Benefits and FP&A financial impact of severance actions and ensure proper expense is recorded by divisions.
Regular interaction with FP&A, Accounting, Compensation & Benefits teams (including external Actuaries) and Divisions.
Facilitate invoice processing/accruals for the Comp & Ben programs.
Coordinate quarterly true-up to business leaders.
Corporate HR Department Expenses:
Develop the Annual Operating Plan for each department consistent with corporate guidance and input from budget owners for each cost center.
Perform budget to actual variance analysis and make recommendations to budget owners for adjustments as needed. Develop forecasts each period.
Finance business partner to the key PepsiCo HR executives.
HR Shared Services Horizontal:
Manage the planning and forecasting of all expenses related to shared HR tools and services (e.g. payroll, learning).
Ensure that forecast/plan is correctly reflected and charged out to Divisions/Sectors.
Finance business partner to the SVP of Global HR Operations, including review of financial performance each period; Respond to ad hoc requests for information and analysis from senior management.
Liaise with Horizontals accounting team, including performing SOX controls consistent with Horizontals' requirements.
Develop allocation methodologies and manage G&A model allocating expenses to Sector teams.
Support development of presentations and communication of annual Plan to key stakeholders, including Sector teams.
Qualifications:
MBA and/or CPA with at least 5 years post-MBA experience (MBA/CPA preferred, but not required).
5-7 years team leadership and supervisory experience with proven ability to mentor/develop finance talent.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work effectively with personnel from all levels of staff and management, within and outside the company.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and controls. Prior pension accounting experience a plus but not required.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel skills a must, SAP and Oracle tools a plus).
Numerous ad-hoc requests which require ability to change/shift priorities.
