FIS Global, Institutional and Wholesale is seeking a Managing Director, Key Account Management (MD, KAM) for the Key Account Management Program. The Managing Director, Key Accounts role at FIS Global is a high profile strategic role with prominent visibility both internally and externally with senior level executives. The MD, KAM is responsible for account growth, including strategy mapping, account penetration, customer relationships management, and business improvement initiatives. The role will require both individual sales contribution, and team based selling across multiple specialist groups and business units within FIS.
Position Responsibilities:

The Managing Director, Key Accounts will be accountable for the following:

Attain and Exceed annual sales target for named accounts through direct and team based selling.
Grow and Manage pipeline based on sales target and defined performance goals.
High levels of account engagement, specifically on the ability to build and cultivate executive level relationships at named accounts.
Development and execution of Strategic Account Plan(s) for named accounts.
Consistent communication with key stakeholders within FIS.
Knowledge and Skills Required:

Is considered an expert in selling complex enterprise software and services to large financial institutions, with demonstrated ability to close multi-million dollar agreements.
Understands the industry and market segment in which Key Accounts are situated, and integrates this knowledge into consultative selling.
Experience in creation and execution of strategic account plans for large financial services firms.
Ability to collaborate with management and sales teams to ensure seamless integration and utilization of resources to drive new business.
Cultivates and maintains positive relationships with customers to support account retention and growth, and position FIS Global, Institutional and Wholesale as the preferred vendor for meeting all business needs.
Establishes a professional working relationship, up to the executive level, with the client.
Demonstrates leadership and initiative in successfully driving specialty sales in accounts - prospecting, negotiating and closing deals.
Understands how to leverage FIS Global’ s portfolio and change the playing field on our competitors.
Maintains expertise of industry trends, associated solutions, and key partner solutions.
Utilizes CRM tools as an expert and accurately forecasts business.
Education and Experience Required:

• Minimum 10-15 years of successful sales experience in the financial services industry

• Extensive selling experience within the software and services sector

• Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota, diversity of business customer, and higher level customer interface

• Well versed in sales effectiveness techniques and strategies

• Minimum Bachelor's degree, Advanced degree preferred
