• Oversight of CPWS Central Region Finance
• This role requires the person to build effective working relationships across the distributor, commercial, customer marketing and finance functions

Purpose of Role:
To provide finance and commercial support to the VP of Finance, SVP/GM Southern Wines and Spirits Division and work directly with the CPWS Central Region VP of Sales. This position plays a key role in delivering the CPWS Central Region business and financial objectives.

Specifically the finance director will:
• Partner with the commercial team to provide in-depth finance decision support, connecting the commercial drivers to the finance impact
• Manage the end to end process of the Annual Operating Plan as well as monthly forecasting (R&O’s)
• Manage the new CPWS Revenue Management operating model and aligned spend, specifically evaluating and analysing trade spend optimization and total brand investment within southern/glazers markets.
• Partner with the commercial teams to better measure and analyse both effectiveness and efficiency of trade spend investment across brands as measured through M&E and revenue management suite of tools.
• Manage monthly performance reporting and analysis of CPWS Central Region performance against targets
• Manage risks and opportunities and provide performance insights. Identify performance enhancement options and work with the leadership team to execute
• Analyse and report against key drivers of operating margin, i.e. price, trade spend, mix, and A&P to deliver OM objectives
• Manage a team of 3 finance professionals
• Provide functional guidance and informal coaching to managers and analysts
• Maintain a strong internal control & compliance environment
• Build and maintain an effective relationship with regional finance teams
• Drive process change and standardization

Key Outputs:
• CPWS Central Region Strategic Plan and AOP – coordinate process and own deliverables for the CPWS Central Region.
• Provide insightful business performance management analysis
• Alongside business risk management, identify business improvement opportunities
• Monthly financial statements for the division
• Support the CARM process led by the CPWS Division Finance team. Ensure effective controls are in place and lead compliance locally.
• Ensure financial data provided by the team is of the highest standard
• Development of a professional finance team and the recognition by the commercial leadership team of the finance team as the providers of business / financial insight and great business partnering

Qualifications and Experience Required:
• 8 + years of relevant business experience
• Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA and / or recognized accounting qualification preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across an organization
• Successful track record of managing and developing a finance organization
• Strong team player; great relationship-building skills
• Commercial Finance experience is a plus
