The Executive Director Talent Management will be responsible for all aspects of design, implementation and administration of Talent Management processes, solutions, and programs.
Reporting to the Vice President, Global Learning & Talent Management you will lead Sony Pictures journey in integrating technology, systems, talent, and programs that enable and drive an innovative workforce. This role focuses on working with internal HR partners and business leaders to advance our long-term talent strategy by creating employee-enabled experiences that are actionable, practical, and scalable to support a global workforce. Integrating your experience and knowledge of talent processes and business acumen, you will be a thought leader in building an architecture and infrastructure that attracts, engages, develops, and retains talent.
What You’ll Do:
Partner with P&O and business leadership to develop a Talent Management strategy driven by technology-enabled tools.
Develop support programs that support career mobility and organizational deployment of talent.
Lead and guide in the development of talent management strategies including key talent/high-potential development, and performance management to address current and future business needs
Ensure talent management strategies and solutions support existing and emerging business needs, and implement strategies to make talent management a competitive advantage
Serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert regarding talent management best practices as well as current trends and innovative new tools / methods
In partnership with internal resources engage and connect management and employees with the company’s approaches.
Identifies and participates in building learning & experience maps for various talent segments.
Develop effective relationships with internal stakeholders to facilitate greater alignment between people and talent processes.
Work in partnership with P&O analytics to identify, monitor, analyze, and draw conclusions on talent metrics that provide insight into overall business performance and talent health.
Partners with L&OD team, identifies and establishes learning support approaches that reinforce and facilitate process ownership and adoption of talent tools.

Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of 10 years professional experience focused in Talent Management with a background in organizational development, change leadership, project management, process design, technology and talent integration, career design, and building talent programs. Experience as a HR business partner is a plus.
5-7 years working directly with HR leadership and senior executives.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/MS in OD or a similar field preferred.
