As a key member of the Digital Business, the Director - Strategic Consulting – Financial Services will be responsible for expanding the existing client base to establish vertical-specific digital offerings and support development of new business. In doing so, this individual will
Help promote and support the delivery of consulting engagements
Own business and account development activities;
Develop new capabilities and offerings
Responsibilities:
Develop and grow our Digital Financial Services presence through leadership or participation in Digital strategy, industry level participation, business development, capability/solution development, employee management and recruiting
Provide key insights and vision into major industry drivers and our sellable solutions and offerings within Financial Services verticals and its sub-verticals
Lead marketing and business development activities in Digital Financial Services
Evangelize to customers the benefits of the Digital Solution approach to business transformation
Manage the development of proposals and presentations for prospective projects Provide guidance and support to Sales Executives. Develop new business through existing and new clients and industry contacts
Serve as a Subject Matter Advisor within Financial Services providing thought leadership, insights, and helping to develop Financial Services POVs and refine our go to Market Strategy and opportunities
Provide strategic leadership, and contribute to delivery of Digital Financial Services engagements
Provide oversight of Financial Services engagements, within the Digital Business, which may require contributing subject matter expertise management and collaborating with resources across the company
Actively participate in assessments, proofs of concept and engagements to contribute relevant subject matter and Financial Services industry insights
Identify and recruit “top talent” for the Digital Business
Provide constructive feedback and regular coaching throughout the year to assist employees with performance objectives and professional development
Monitor changes or advancements in Financial Servcies (and Financial Services technology) to explore new ways Fujitsu can extend competitive advantage and drive growth
Analyze the costs, value and risks of new systems and technology, and provide sound, cost-effective recommendations to the owners and management
Qualifications
Desired Skills and Experience
Combination of delivery experience on large accounts across various functional areas, relationships with existing Financial Services clients, Financial Services Technology Partners, and the ability to collaborate in a very distributed organization
A minimum of 8 years’ experience in client facing engagements in Financial Services
A minimum of 8 years’ experience managing multiple projects, managing work activities, meeting deadlines and developing business
A minimum of 10 years in a Lead role/leading teams
A minimum of 10 years functional experience in Consulting or Technology
Proven experience managing and leading small to large teams
Extensive experience with management or technology consulting
Experience working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, environment
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong executive presence and ability to interact with top executives
Strong network of contacts and relationships in the Financial Services Marketplace
Successful teamwork experience & demonstrated leadership abilities
Bachelor’s Degree in a related area of study
15 years of related work experience in Consulting, Technology or Financial Services
Travel up to 50%
