As a Senior Product Manager in the Analytics Business Unit, you will join a dynamic and fast-paced team and work cross-functionally to design, build and launch the next generation of analytics products for today’s Big Data environments. Opentext’s Analytics Suite is amongst the most widely deployed embedded reporting and advanced analytics solutions. Most major financial institutions and customers in a variety of other vertical industries rely on it to gain insights into their information. You are great at:
Bringing a deep understanding of the Information Analytics market, staying current with buying and competitive trends, identifying and defining requirements to fill product gaps
Evangelizing and creating buy-in from internal and extern.al stakeholders for product vision.
Translating product strategy into detailed prototypes and stories for agile development.
Working with Marketing to develop product pricing and packaging strategies.
Supporting go-to-market planning and execution.
Collaborating with Sales and PS to ensure customer feedback into product roadmap and to ensure customer satisfaction.
Working closely with engineering to plan sprints and deliver short TTM products of high quality.
Evangelizing product to customers, field and industry analysts to build awareness and build mindshare.
Running customer and field advisory boards.

What it takes:
MS/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
Knowledge of open-source, Big-Data related projects such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
Technical familiarity with HTML5, Ajax, REST, mobile environments would be very useful
Knowledge of analytics, machine learning and data visualization expertise will be valuable
Demonstrable work experience in Product Management with one or more product launches under the belt
Has to be hands-on with the products and curious about technology trends, able to create demos that might include use of scripting languages, etc. No armchair experts please ?
Understanding of agile product management and engineering practices and a willingness to roll up the sleeves and do what it takes to define product functionality well and test that the product meets the requirements
Strong presentation and excellent written and verbal communication skills are a MUST!
Collaborative mindset and ability to work with distributed cross-functional teams
