Shutterstock is looking for an experienced, dedicated, and service oriented Director of Operations who will lead and scale our operations support team. This role will be focused on challenges such as optimizing operations team efficiencies, workflow automation, and measurement in order to support a large team of developers and engineers across geographies.
Build an operations strategy and associated goals with supportive work plans.
Align operational efforts with quantifiable improvement metrics and overall company strategy.
Manage a growing team of support engineers with a physical presence in NYC as well as coverage in multiple global regions.
Standardize technologies setting and implementing policies and processes.
Manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Operate a service organization where the team is accountable for service delivery to internal customers.
Build positive relationships with the Executive team, department directors and managers.
Basic Qualifications:
4+ years of relevant experience managing operations at a technology company
Experience with Linux, NGINX, Puppet, basic networking and debugging
Experience in AWS tools and concepts
Extensive experience with Jira or other ticketing systems, the ability to report metrics using ticketing systems and direct the
Strong customer service, organizational, prioritization, multitasking, communication and leadership skills.
Ability to balance frontline support with projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or equivalent management experience.
Experience delivering to SLA based service constraints and operational metrics.
Experience in managing global teams.
Configuration management and scripting experience.
