The Creative Cloud Platform engineering team is looking for a seasoned, passionate, and hands on technical leader! We’re building a world class app framework that will be used inside and outside of Adobe to build innovative applications of the future.
We’re re-inventing how Adobe builds applications on multiple platforms via a framework that enables JavaScript and C++ application development using web standards for defining the user interface (Torq and Torq Native). In addition, the platform will provide connectors to the Creative Cloud, out of the box data-driven iteration & machine learning capabilities on those applications and enable 1st party and 3rd party extensibility.
In addition to leading your own organization, you'll be responsible for internally and externally evangelizing the Adobe Application Platform, working with customers & partners to enable their success. High social and emotional EQ is just as vital in this role as strong technical chops!

Requirements
• 10+ years of software engineering experience that should touch web, mobile (iOS, Android), desktop (MacOS, Win32)
• Minimum 7 years experience leading engineering teams
• Very strong analytical skills – including requirements analysis, debugging and risk assessment
• Strong working knowledge of modern software development methodologies and
software design patterns and have experience leading & delivering significant software projects/products.
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts effectively
• Demonstrated passion for continuous development (CI/CD).
• Technical curiosity – wanting to understand how things work and how they could work better
• A proven track record of leading the development and delivery of large-scale product offerings and systems within a high growth, global, matrixed environment.
• Previous experience in one or more programming languages like JavaScript, C++, Java, Objective C.
• Proficient in contemporary web frameworks and technologies like React, Angular.
• Experience and passion around data driven development – lean startup approach to product development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to build a diverse team with the best and brightest engineers in a competitive job market
• Ability to adapt and handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
Ideal candidate would also:
• Capable of interfacing with executive leadership across the company and should be able to deftly read your audience and hold a room without breaking a sweat.
• Experience and interest around machine learning approaches and techniques, including deep neural networks
• Understanding of application building with Windows Universal Platform (UWP)
