• The Global Commercial Product Strategy & Planning team is responsible for supporting the development and refinement of the global commercial strategy in an effort to increase market share and revenue by creating a sustained competitive advantage
• This team is also responsible for supporting the commercial planning process working closely with the commercial segment, region, and finance teams
• Supports the design, development and execution of the global commercial strategy in partnership with senior management
• Collaborates with the segment and region leads to build segment / regional strategies and plans to grow commercial business globally, and track progress through metrics and analysis
• Drives individual projects and project management oversight of key Commercial strategic and operational initiatives, driving alignment, execution and measurement
• Lead internal and external communications responsibilities - e.g., quarterly operating reviews, quarterly earnings, investor day, town halls, pipeline reviews, etc.
• Supports the creation of internal and external presentations for the Board, other key Mastercard executives, customers and for analysts and media as well as global trade forums
All About You
• Proven experience in strategy and planning, product management and/or payments experience a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to identify key issues, structure analysis and synthesize data, and provide recommendations effectively
• Superior communications, presentation and interpersonal skills including the ability to work with and
ability to influence people across a matrix organization at all levels
• Experience developing segment and product strategies and roadmaps required. Product and customer segment management experience is required.
• Experience working under tight deadlines with shifting/competing priorities
• Strong process management and follow-up skills
