Directly oversees multiple matrix team members of technology professionals and projects focusing on information systems activities, including design, development, and administration of applications and operation of voice, network, server and desktop environments. Provides leadership and direction to Digital & Technology (D&T) and business units in developing and maintaining effective and efficient Technology programs Ensures that operational compliance is well managed and meets service-level standards. Serves as liaison to business units as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meet client and transition schedule deadlines and appropriately manage through any roadblocks or tough situations that are outside of D&T control, mitigating any risks and escalating to senior leadership throughout the transition.
Oversee and manage all aspects of the Technology delivery, working with other internal and external application owners/SMEs and holding each accountable for their respective parts of the transition without taking full ownership of all details and tactical tasks.
Provide a hand-off at the close of the transition (Hypercare phase) back to the Division Technology Solutions Lead.
Work with Division Technology Solutions Lead and Transition Lead to understand, monitor, and keep the Technology transition on budget.
Mitigate and communicate to leadership any risks to the budget. Hold all Technology team members and application owners accountable for reporting time and travel expenses in a timely manner (target is within 2 weeks of actuals).
As part of the deployment process, develop tools and best practices to deliver the Technology stack and hardware as appropriate. Document and share tools and best practices with peers, team members, and other leaders as appropriate.
Expand your technical knowledge on all new Technology solutions, integrations and business application thereof. Make recommendations on systems or process improvements as needed. Build good relationships with Transition Lead and project team members, Account Operations, clients, Finance, and Accounting.
Maintains professional contacts with other organizations, research institutions, service providers, and software or equipment manufacturers concerning support and lifecycle management.
Directs the continuing review of present systems and methods, as well as the formulation of new and revised systems; determines and makes recommendations for appropriate changes to effect improvements, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
Plans, implements, and controls multiple digital & technology projects. Ensures that project plans are executed within cost and time constraints. Reports project performance and status to upper management.
Works with the business and other technology partners to discuss and understand the implications of digital & technology initiatives for their department.
Keeps abreast of technological changes and innovations in the information systems field.
Responsible for controls and governance of technology platform as well as ownership of policies and procedures and audit engagements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
50-75% travel will be required at times, since work will be done primarily directly at client sites and remote based

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of 8 to 12 years of related experience and/or training, including 5 years of experience at the management level.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Develops and implements budgetary policies and procedures Approves and oversees Technology project budgets.
