The Business Operations & Strategy team is a diverse team (currently made up of corporate finance professionals, investment bankers, and buyside professionals) who partner with business leaders to conduct high-impact analysis and deliver recommendations to drive critical decisions. This team reports into the Head of Operations, and interacts frequently with MileIQ executive management. It establishes the short- and long-term financial objectives of the organization, measures performance against these objectives, and supports course-correction to meet these objectives. We roll up our sleeves and put our minds to work on MileIQ's most impactful initiatives.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the business operations and strategy team to provide business insight to guide organization towards long and short term goals

Gather and analyze research to inform business issues and develop compelling, insightful recommendations

Create and advance financial and decision-making models and prepare ad-hoc analysis to support critical initiatives

Partner cross-functionally to build and maintain detailed company financial and operational model

Provide meaningful and informative analysis on financial results and spending trends versus plan

Prepare executive level reporting of metrics and financial results for internal and external audiences

Take ownership of the forecasting process and identify areas for improvement, efficiencies, and automation

Requirements
You are highly analytical, solutions-oriented, entrepreneurial, pragmatic, and should be comfortable interacting across all disciplines of the company and effective at setting and managing expectations of senior management

You have a high level of intellectual curiosity as well as outstanding quantitative and critical thinking abilities

You are motivated, highly enthusiastic and able to work with minimal direction

You have excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)

You build strong relationships and interact directly with senior leaders

You have strong work ethic, are a good teammate, with a great sense of humor

Bachelor's Degree preferably in finance, economics, accounting, business, or related field

2-4 years of finance work experience

Investment banking, private equity, or top-tier management consulting background a plus

Interest and/or experience in Technology/Mobile sector

Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
