Brand Sales Director Lifestyle Time Inc New York

The Lifestyle Brand Sales Director will report directly into the VP, Lifestyle Brand Sales. They will drive ad revenue for the Lifestyle Group. This is a key role for a decisive life-long learner with a creative consultative approach to advertising sales and the track record to prove it. Those who don’t possess an enthusiasm for collaborating across teams to drive growth opportunities need not apply.
You will:

Serve as an evangelist for our brands with internal category teams and key external accounts
Responsible for all ad revenues driven against respective brand portfolio with a focus on select categories, such as food, beauty, home, etc.
Partner and collaborate directly with the editorial team, brand GMs, & brand marketing; attend weekly brand meetings & disseminate information across categories / socialize brand priority programs
Be the voice of the customer back to brand management (top editors, brand GMs, brand marketing leads); inform them of specific category needs/products and assist in creation of brand story for the category
Develop appropriate strategies, platforms and tactics for each category to ensure top line success
Lead forecasting for brand coordinating with category leads to ensure accuracy and identify problems well in advance to enable company to address
Attend the appropriate external meetings that require brand expertise to convert business.
Assist category leads with pipeline management and prioritizing key brand initiatives within the category
Serve as the point of contact for brand production team on specific issue questions/needs and assist gap-closing
Help category reps focus with direction and accountability on key tentpoles, identify key targets, and act in the right selling cycles
Responsible for knowing all that is new from the brand & educating the category sales teams
Direct and focus sales teams to the desired prospects in building and maintaining the pipeline and ultimately assisting sales in presenting, following up and selling through the ideas
