Retail Concepts Manager Adidas Portland

Purpose:

Concepts to life at retail by executing the globally approved concept, managing implementation & installation, merchandising and maintenance of adidas branded shops at wholesale.

Key Accountabilities:

Manage the installation of our globally approved fixture concepts: Homecourt and Neighborhood and other custom fixture concepts as needed. Proactively lead and drive all internal and external teams (production, installation, visual merchandising, and logistics) from planning through the final implementation by providing informed recommendations.

Maintain a thorough understanding of key retail channels and accounts and develop in-store strategies that help adidas gain space and support sell–through. Prioritize and manage all maintenance/updates to existing shops and have a clear understanding of the RSP system to aid in global concept rollouts. Maintain Retail Space Management RSM project schedules and ensure on-time and on-budget completion with cross-functional partners Optimize and manage allocated budgets for all retail concepts and repair/maintenance projects. Support and coordinate the development and installation of seasonal graphic updates for SIS.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Ability to interpret CAD drawings. Capable of partnering and influencing across internal and external project teams to drive to results. Strong conceptual thinking, critiquing design skills and innovative layout imagination. Strong fixture assembly and installations skills. Strong understanding of key retail channels and accounts. Strong communication and presentation skills. Strong project and budget management, planning, and prioritization skills. Ability to succeed in ever-changing and complex organization with minimal daily direction. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of basic Adobe Photoshop. Ability to travel domestically estimated at 15%
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Marketing, Business, or related field Minimum of 5-7 years of retail marketing and project management experience Fixture production knowledge highly preferred. (from creative design development to production vendor to installation/assembly) Retail floor experience and/or retail account experience preferred Previous experience in visual merchandising – ideally in fixture by fixture layouts
