• Organize specialized v-teams to support expansion initiatives
• Own project and program management of multi-year Azure-related projects and programs such as DevOps, Networking and Identity Management
• Track progress of all work streams against project schedule
• Develop and present project status reports to Partner level leadership.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to align services and optimize resources.
• Define and document new processes where required and drive automation
Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong, demonstrated technical problem solving and communication skills; an ability to define common requirements across a wide range of diverse customers; and a passion for simplicity in design that drives scalability.
• Significant experience in systems side of software development including one or more of the following: highly scalable infrastructure, server/device health, database engines, network fabric, and software/automation.
• Demonstrated understanding and experience with system architecture and optimization with a track record of successful solution delivery (e.g. implementing a solution that drives results).
• Strong x-cross team skills are required.
• Demonstrated customer focus and end-to-end thinking across teams and experiences. Critical thinking skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous problems.
Experience Required
• 5+ years of experience years in professional software development or Program Management is required.
• 5+ years in program management experience spanning network, server, infrastructure tooling, and compliance preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Advanced Sciences is necessary. Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience as key contributor to designing, shipping and operating large-scale, public cloud services.
• Must have detailed knowledge of Azure physical infrastructure and service offerings.
• Masters various programming languages and cloud technologies, is a plus.
