The RCO is looking to hire a Director, Stress Testing Governance and Control to support the governance and control standards of the stress testing processes and supporting models used for internal initiatives (e,g. ERM Risk Appetite Framework) as well as current and future FRB requirements. He/she will have primary responsibilities including:
Develop policies and standards for the governance and controls over the processes and models supporting the financial outcomes and analysis under base and stress using scenario based tools and techniques.

Partner with corporate and business groups to develop and implement action plans to address gaps identified.
Support the development of material for use with the FRB during capital and other related exams and reviews to communicate our efforts to maintain and develop robust governance and control standards related to our deterministic scenario based processes.
Once the formal FRB capital plan deliverable is required, individual will support the effective challenge framework as well as coordinate and support the development of required documentation.
Monitor emerging regulatory requirements impacting the governance and control standards over stress testing and recommend/implement enhancements to our capabilities and processes.
Assist business units and corporate areas in assessing adherence to governance and control standards.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree required, with specialization in Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit, or other analytical focused roles preferred
8 or more years of experience in an accounting, finance, actuarial or risk/control role
Experience and/or familiarity with development of financial projection processes, required
Able to build relationships and trust and exert influence beyond positional authority
Strong understanding of insurance industry and products
Demonstrated track record in problem-solving, strategic thinking and analytical capabilities
Stress testing experience, whether in an insurance, asset management or banking environment, is desirable
Strong written communication skills with ability to express complex ideas clearly and succinctly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Demonstrated ability to multi-task
