KPMG is currently seeking a Director in Financial Services for our Management Consulting practice.
Responsibilities:
Lead business development activities such as buyer and opportunity identification, sales and value proposition material creation, proposal development, pricing and profitability modelling and statement of work creation in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Manage engagements according to KPMG’s financial and cost management policies and support delivery of solutions to clients, primarily with services related to Electronic Trading (Governance, Architecture, SDLC, Market Risk Controls, Transaction Controls, Monitoring, Reporting) with top broker-dealers
Develop, maintain, and manage client relationships with Trading Desks, Technology, Internal Audit, Operational Risk and Legal / Compliance, and other KPMG account stakeholders to proactively inform of solution capabilities and learn of account opportunities
Manage, recruit, train, and mentor advisory staff and adhere to professional practice requirements
Define and build solution collateral around Electronic Trading
Clearly and persuasively communicate recommendations to key project stakeholders, including client board members and senior management

Qualifications:

A minimum of eight years of experience as a technical lead or architect responsible for large scale application design and architecture for front office trading systems of a large broker-dealer (Equities, Rates or FX) or in an exchange / trading venue environment
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related field from a top tier college/university; MBA or Masters preferred
Experience in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting client / exchange connectivity, OMS, algo containers, algos (pricing / hedging, investment / routing), and middleware / integration technologies e.g. Tibco, 29West, Solace
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Visio, and PowerPoint
Fundamental understanding of state management and pros and cons of distributed versus centralized state management
Series 7 or CFA-Level II minimum preferred
