Responsible for further embedding, managing and improving the Group’s Operational Risk framework
Partnering with our US Executive team to implement a robust Operational Risk Management Framework providing guidance for ongoing maintenance to include:
Design and implementation of the Operational Risk & Control (R&C) Environment.
Enabling the business to maintain their Operational R&C Environment including, but not limited to, self-assessment, analysis and risk identification.
Ensuring the business develops their R&C Environment in line with their strategy and business model, regulatory requirements and industry good practice
Understand the risk profile and key processes and complete an annual plan of targeted risk assessments in conjunction with the business.
Review and challenge risk reporting, assessments, incidents and assurance activities.
Co-ordinate and maintain a relevant and robust incident management process
What will make you the ideal candidate?
Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification with membership of a relevant professional body
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in 2nd line operational risk management and / or acquiring
Expertise in Risk including detailed understanding of Operational Risk, as well as general knowledge of other Risk disciplines (Market, Regulatory, Fraud and Credit) and how these impact on business performance
Proven experience of managing Risk teams and consultative skills
