The individual will report to the Executive Director of Psychiatry Marketing and will lead/supervise the dasotraline marketing team and the extended dasotraline team to a successful launch while meeting financial goals. This position is responsible for leading the development of the overall Commercial strategy and tactical plan for the launch of Dasotraline, including being the primary Commercial contact for Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, and FDA interactions. This position is also responsible for Psychiatry Lifecycle Planning.

Essential Functions
• Oversee the development of the overall strategy for the launch of Dasotraline for ADHD and for Binge Eating, including primary commercial contact for Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, and FDA interactions.

• Leads the development and execution of the Branded HCP and Patient marketing strategy, positioning, messaging, and tactics.

• Collaborates with Sales on the development of Field and training strategy.

• Leads the development and execution of pre-launch strategy, messaging and tactics.

• Co-leads, with Managed Markets, development of Managed Markets Brand Strategy and tactics and establishes managed care coverage objectives and strategies. On an ongoing basis, collaborates with Managed Markets on the analysis of accounts.

• Is the Commercial lead for the design of clinical trials and FDA interactions related to the ADHD and Binge Eating programs for adults and pediatrics.

• Oversees branded Key Opinion Leader (KOL) development, and primary commercial contact for Medical Affairs and MSL teams.

• Brand lead for collaboration with the HEOR and MSL teams to establish HEOR objectives and strategies. Collaborate with HEOR team on the development of the dossier and other materials.

• Oversees brand forecasting and collaboration with Finance on development of Mid-Term Business Plan (MTBP).

• Provides Commercial inputs to the International Plan for Dasotraline.

• Develop and lead lifecycle management efforts across brands within the Psychiatry Franchise.

• Lead and inspire team to continually develop themselves to ensure that they meet and exceed business and professional growth goals.
Minimum education requirementsHigh School
Experience required
7 - 10 Years
Knowledge & skills (general and technical)
Education level and/or relevant experience(s):
• Undergraduate degree in marketing, business or a scientific discipline strongly preferred.

• MBA or other advanced degree from nationally accredited college or university is preferred.


Knowledge and skills (general and technical):
• 8 - 10 years of marketing, commercial ops, field sales, commercial analytics, managed markets or related experience in pharmaceuticals with 5+ years direct pharmaceutical marketing experience strongly preferred.

• Experience introducing a new product strongly preferred.

• Direct experience in ADHD class in marketing, commercial ops, field sales, commercial analytics or managed markets strongly preferred.

• Direct experience managing ad agencies and KOLs.

• Direct experience in a strategy development role (e.g. brand marketing, management consulting, new product planning, commercial analytics) strongly preferred.

• Comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical marketing legal and regulatory issues required. Direct experience with Clinical Development and Regulatory processes, including FDA product labeling process, strongly preferred.

• Ability to interact widely and effectively within the company across departments and management levels.

• Ability to manage ambiguous environments and develop and execute action plans in areas without prior precedent.

• Proven teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Superior written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in leading teams.
