As Senior Director of Product Management for our Hospitality business, you will be responsible for the Creation and Delivery of the Product Strategy and Roadmaps that serve our key Hospitality Customer groups. Reporting to the SVP of Software Engineering & Chief Technology Officer, you will lead a brilliant and disruptively innovative Global team of Product Managers. Your team will be responsible for understanding the customer’s business needs in order to create new product features as well as formulate and optimize feature delivery on the product roadmaps. Your key responsibilities will include:
Watch: Career Advice Lead the software product management team responsible for product roadmap development for the Hospitality industry segments and ensure the product vision is aligned with the solution strategy of our Hospitality business and overall NCR strategy.
Ensure the team develops and prioritizes software product features based on Solution Management inputs on market and customer needs for complete go-to-market solutions comprising software, hardware and services.
Ensure releases focus on the features/stories with maximum value and alignment to software product strategy.
Lead team in conducting market, competitive, and voice-of-the-customer analyses to determine software product requirements and ensure alignment with solution strategy.
Optimize feature delivery across the software product portfolio and coordinate the team in defining and prioritizing program backlog in support of the solution strategy.
Lead prototyping, customer use case development, and product specifications development, and work with Enterprise and System Architects to facilitate key technology and architecture decisions.
Manage a portfolio of software products with coordinated releases and program increments, and communicate with Software Engineering including Product Owners, Architects, and Agile teams.
Coordinate across the software product management team to validate the interoperability of each product within the overall solution.
Work with Solution Marketing and Solution Management to develop revenue and client adoption plans that are aligned with those used by Sales in target setting.
Work closely with, and provide inputs to, Solution Management on overall enterprise and solution portfolio, GTM, pricing strategies, sales enablement, investment levels and end-of-life.
Track revenue, gross margin and contribution margin targets and key performance metrics across the software product portfolio.
Qualifications
Success candidates will have the following qualifications…
15+ years’ experience working in and with technology teams with increasing responsibility in software product management.
Experience working with software within the Hospitality Industry.
Experience managing a portfolio of software products and product managers.
Proven ability to build effective teams including sourcing new iNCRedible talent.
Understanding of Multi-tenant cloud-based high transaction volume systems.
Understanding of PaaS, the Internet of Things, Big Data and data management.
Experience with Agile, Scrum, lean quality, test automation, continuous delivery and DevOps.
