The Role: The SNL Knowledge Center is seeking a Director to develop, manage, and deliver new and existing educational offerings to our clients.
The Director plans, develops and manages a portfolio of global commercial events for profit. In this role, you will research and develop topics of interest to our client base and recruit credible speakers within the event's theme. You will coordinate and promote industry-specific seminars, conferences, virtual instructor led courses, and webinars. A large part of this role will involve knowing our current programs, seeking to stay atop knowledge, trends, and content, and developing training and new programs in areas which we do not currently offer. You will use your connections within and outside the company to recruit speakers and presenters as well as gain expertise on cutting-edge training content.

This position gives you a chance to showcase your ownership abilities and drive profitability through managing all aspects of the P&L. As you create, coordinate, plan, and market new training offerings, you will be the point-of-contact and face of the Knowledge Center with attendees, guest speakers, venues, and more.

Requirements:
10+ years of professional experience in a financial services role
Experience developing training programs
Background in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is desired; a focus in Investment Banking/Investment Management, Risk Analysis/Risk Management, or Corporate Development would be useful.
Successful candidates will have strong analytical, relationship management, ownership, and organizational skills.
A familiarity with financial analysis and/or understanding of the financial markets is also required.
