This candidate will lead the Program Management and Operational Support group within the Network Processing Product Support organization within Technology. The candidate will provide direct leadership to a highly experienced team of nine individuals. The ideal candidate would be a senior technology leader with substantial experience in program and project management of large scale technology implementations and critical 24x7 production support functions.

Responsible for the program management of the semi-annual (April and October) and quarterly (July and January) VisaNet business enhancement releases that include a portfolio of 90 – 110 projects with a budget of over $45M annually. Work in close partnership with the Network Processing PMO, Network Processing development organizations and Client Support Services (CSS) to ensure successful release implementation. Thought leadership in terms of best practices for large scale technology implementations
Responsible for exception processing of global loads in a global, 24 x 7, high volume, high availability, critical production environment
Responsible for the encryption key generation and processing
Responsible for the Front Door function in the Network Processing division
Lead innovation efforts to increase efficiencies and automate manual processes
Collaborate with the Network Processing senior leadership team to manage and report on key performance metrics for the division
Ensure that all the processes are in compliance with Key Controls and internal/external audit reviews
Qualifications
More than 15 years of proven experience managing technically complex projects and programs as well as supporting production systems
Solid understanding of project and program management techniques, methodologies, and best practices, especially as they relate to large scale software implementations. Strong project and program management skills
Proven ability to mentor/manage and motivate a team of experienced technologists and set clear priorities to achieve department goals
Highly effective interpersonal skills with an ability to partner with a dynamic senior leadership team
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think strategically
Financial services and card payments experience is a plus
BA/BS degree is required. Concentration in Computer Science, Business, or a related technical discipline. MBA is a plus
