As we grow Intel’s business, we are seeking an outstanding technology leader to be senior director of the Datacenter Technologies for DCG PAG. This leader is expected to build out and lead the senior technical organization by bringing a strategic technical vision, experience and knowledge of datacenter technology trends, and expertise in both technology portfolio management and platform architecture. The Senior Director, Datacenter Technologies, will report to the VP/GM Innovation, Pathfinding and Architecture Group and will be responsible for: • Organizational Leadership: Provide a key proactive leadership role in driving operational excellence while developing and managing long and short range strategic objectives and priorities for achieving overall datacenter technology goals.

Leading significant group level initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness along technological, operational, and employee development vectors. • Cross-group orchestration: Lead in a manner that aligns the many to execute as one team across Intel (DCG and Intel partners) and with industry partners. Enlist the individuals, teams and managers around a common vision and their crucial role in achieving success at growth together. • Technical vision for new datacenter technologies, including (but limited to) Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Security, Graphics, Media, Compression Encryption, 5G, etc. • Technology board of advisors (BoA) engagement – Own PAG external technology BoA engagement and synthesize into technology insights, help establish DCG as thought leader in industry.

Qualifications

The accomplished individual will have a history of accomplishments that demonstrates outstanding results in each of the following areas. Strategic Technical Expertise: • Two+ domains: Direct more than 10 years of working experience in at least two of data center related technologies ie. Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Security, Graphics, Media, Compression Encryption, 5G, etc. • Insight to action: Multiple examples of seizing opportunities that resulted from the convergence of trends across domains. • Point of View: Has a technology ‘point-of-view’ about the future of the industries drawn from multi-domain work multi-disciplinary perspective. • Strategy: Ability to identify technology trends, assess and define technology-product intercept, requirements, and solutions Exquisite People Stakeholder Management Skills: • Stakeholders: Lives and breathes a win-win-win attitude and approach to stakeholder, partner, technology community relationships. • Direct Matrix Staff: Extensive experience successfully leading in matrix environments where weak or no formal ‘lines’ compel support of staff. Creates a collaborative team spirit across direct and matrixed staff. Has many examples of direct staff mentored, managed or coached who achieve career leaps as a result. Education: • Master’s degree or greater required in an engineering field
