We are looking for a Global Head of Marketing Technology & Platforms who will define and drive the vision, strategy, roadmap and execution for a connected marketing/advertising technology ecosystem for Spotify globally that delivers data driven seamless/personalized experiences for both fans and artists.

This is a global leadership role within the Marketing Organization for someone who has been at the intersection of marketing, technology, data and storytelling with a deep understanding of the Martech and Adtech landscape. You will establish a global marketing technology organization with global and regional leaders who will partner with various marketing capability leaders as well as the product management and engineering teams to understand the respective capability vision, strategy and roadmap and translate that into business/technology requirements and strategy for the underlying platform across media, content, data and commerce capabilities. You will drive the global implementation and adoption of the platform which will include decision making on buy-build-rent strategies and partner/platform selection in partnership with product and engineering teams.

What you’ll do
Define the vision, strategy and roadmap for Spotify’s underlying marketing technology platform needed to enable Spotify’s marketing and consumer experience vision
Drive marketing and ad technologies efforts across CRM, Marketing Automation, Mobile, Social, Search, Web Experience Management, DMP/DSP, Measurement Analytics & Attribution platforms across the globe
Envision, propose and establish a global marketing technology organization needed to meet the company’s immediate and future needs to inspire consumer behavior and engagement; leading to business growth and maximum market share.
Drive the global implementation and adoption of the marketing technology ecosystem that will deliver seamless, data-driven and always-on fan and artist experiences
Partner with Product & Engineering to drive vendor and technology selection and integration strategy between various capabilities and existing systems
Be the thought leader within the company and bring an outside-in perspective of new technologies and platforms that will enhance the value we bring to both fans and artists
Translate marketing capability vision and strategies into business requirements and business requirements into marketing technology strategy, features, functions and solution architecture
Partner with the Product and business capability leaders to determine the buy-rent-build decisions across the marketing technology landscape and drive the evaluation, assessment and selection process across various technology categories
Work with development teams to manage development of all new products/features including concept development, prototyping, controlled testing, release and optimization
Regularly communicate platform roadmap, status and impediments to stakeholders and management
Establish an agile model to continuously evaluate, assess and adopt new technologies and platforms to drive operational excellence as well as innovation
Manage the annual budget for all marketing and advertising technologies and drive the ROI measurement, analysis and optimization from all the technology investment
Who you are
You bring 15+ years of experience in developing and executing marketing, technology and digital experiences
You have strong understanding and experience of the marketing technology and ad-technology landscape either on the brand, product or agency side
You have excellent relationship management skills (collaboration, facilitation, communication) and the ability to engage business team members using business and industry terms
You bring deep expertise across the marketing technology landscape – DSPs, DMPs, CMS, Analytics & Marketing Automation Platforms, Mobile, Social
You are fluent across Paid, Earned & Owned media platforms & technologies | Data Analytics – Tools, Implementation Strategies, and Reporting
You bring current understanding of CRM, Marketing Automation, Multi-Channel Reporting, Analytics and Dashboarding platforms
You have strong experience across media, content, data platforms as well as system integrations, service oriented architectures
You understand Web Design and UX Methodologies | Front End Creative Development Tools, Workflow and Trends
You have extensive experience as an executive assistant, preferably in a public and/or international company
You are a skilled relationship builder with high integrity
