As Director of New Product Introductions within the Cities team, you will be responsible for the New Product Introductions division. You will be responsible for New to be Developed products around Traffic, Visualization and White Label Applications as a starting point. You will work with the Government Sector (Federal States, Countries and Cities) and leading tech companies around the globe to identify and define key opportunities to deliver significant and differentiated Cities products and solutions to the market. Your goal will be to create products responding to the needs of the Government and Cities and bring holistic solutions to the market responding to their core needs of reducing Traffic congestion and CO2 emissions, help them with visualizing their fragmented in-house data and provide them with means to effectively communicate with their citizens on road safety, best mode of transportation at which time and overall increase the city experience.
Watch: Career Advice You will also be responsible for the international team of Senior Product Managers focusing on the domains above and you will assist them with Overall Vision and Strategy, Road-map definition, Development and release to the market. In brief, end2end responsibility covering the entire Product Life-cycle from inception to release.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions – list in order of importance)
Lead the international team of Senior Product Managers in the Cities, New Product Introductions division
Define the business strategy, product strategy and value propositions of future products regarding Traffic, Visualization and White Label Applications for Cities.
Shape the product portfolio through deep market understanding and industry insight of mobile, tech and location trends and make sure that the Portfolio addresses the Cities and Government needs.
Identify and recommend new business and product opportunities, and work with Business Planning and Strategy team to define business models and strategic business cases for new investments.
Validate Go-To-Market strategies for new products and services within these areas.
Manage a portfolio of products in the context of evolving division strategy.
Identify and evaluate partnerships with other companies to help enrich the valuable ecosystem around our products.
Drive the innovation and growth agenda by finding new ways to grow our business across geography, product lines and customers.
Represent the portfolio of products in external events and forums including product launches and our regular customer events.
Environment (I.E. DEGREE OF SUPERVISION / INDEPENDENCE; CREATIVITY / FOLLOWING PROCEDURES)
You will report to the Head of Cities, within the IoT Group.
This role requires a self-sufficient and highly independent individual who is not afraid of getting the hands dirty, dive into the subject and makes change happen. At the end of the day, you will be measured by the clarity of the Visualization Business and Product Strategy, clarity of the associated Go To Market Strategy and succes of the developed Business Models.
You will head a team of 3 FTE to start with.

Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM EDUCATION, AMT. & TYPE OF WORK EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES RREQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB COMPETENTLY
Previous experience leading a team
Previous experience developing consumer tech and/or government products and software product strategy in a Product Marketing or Product Management role.
Past experience of creating product concepts and turning them in to a commercially successful offering.
Deep understanding of the tech and mobile landscape. Insight into the Government and Cities domain is a clear asset.
Strong technical acumen.
MBA is preferred with technical undergraduate degree.
8+ years minimum relevant work experience.
Outstanding oral and written communications and presentation skills in English.
Sense of urgency, pragmatism and a solution-oriented approach to problem solving.
You are ready to travel up to 25% of your time.
