Director Global Events Marketing ADP Roseland

The Director of Global Events Marketing is responsible for managing ADP's presence at key industry trade shows and events. This includes managing nationwide trade shows, assisting with client user conferences and select regional tradeshows, as well as handling other marketing and logistics surrounding events. He/She will partner closely with Corporate Marketing, Sales, Business Units, and external vendors to maximize the overall attendee experience of trade shows and client-facing events.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Plan and execute trade show and events at nationwide trade association conferences and select regional events. Including:
a. Planning strategies for booth
b. Coordinating messaging with internal stakeholders
c. Identifying sponsorship opportunities that drive lead traffic and promote ADP brand
d. Proposing agenda topics and speakers
e. Developing and coordinating related marketing literature, emails, and mailings
f. Coordinating registration and hotel arrangements
g. Organizing related client functions/dinners
h. Establishing budgets, tracking expenses, and processing payments
i. Managing purchasing and stocking of give-away items
j. Identifying and managing internal booth staff
k. Coordinating shipment of product, literature, and exhibit items
2. Travel to major shows to oversee ADP presence.
3. Manage business relationships with outside vendors including exhibit house.
4. Track trade show results to provide analysis of programs for effectiveness, ROI and post-event reporting.
5. Collaborate with internal functional areas to influence and gain support.
6. Manage specific projects within ADP client user conference. Possible projects include conference mobile app, social media strategy/execution, security testing, client awards program, continuing education credits, and etc.
7. Collaborate with internal digital marketing team to leverage social media strategy for all events including Twitter campaigns and LinkedIn Groups.
8. Explore and propose digital/virtual event program including strategy, development, budget, execution plan, and etc.
9. Utilize seminars, attend "Best Practice" conferences, meet with existing and new vendors to stay current on all Exhibit trends, management standards, and industry practices.
