This position supervises the contract managers and provides the administrative oversight to the department. This position is responsible to provide a professional staff for all projects and resources and to oversee their development and training.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Assume the Leadership of all Contract/RFP commercial terms interpretation to clarify and protect company and customer.
Hire appropriate resources, work with the Project Manager and Contract Managers in evaluating performance and provide any disciplinary actions.
Direct the implementation of all policies and procedures for department.
Provide the vision for all Contract Administrator's work on changes, claims and general project work.
Prime interface between contracts and legal.
Direct all proposal work from a commercial/contracts basis.
Work with legal on proposal risks and negotiations.
Ensure contract personnel adequately protect company in federal, state and local requirements.
Ensure contract personnel have adequate resources with which to perform their functions.
Direct contracts personnel and project teams in commercial issues on projects and proposals.
Provide administrative support to company and department as required.

Guide and direct all claims management within the company.
Set up the strategic direction for all contract resources.
Develop and maintain the personal development plans of all department employees.
Any and all other responsibilities, in addition to those mentioned above, as assigned by supervisor/manager. Any interpretation/clarification with responsibilities above will be settled by the supervisor/manager. Candidate Requirements
Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience or training.
Experience (Essential Functions)

10+ years of experience preferred.
