This is an exciting opportunity to join CGI Federal, a world-class IT company, for a permanent position in the DC Metro area to provide leading IT services to our Department of State clients. The Director, Consulting Services is responsible for delivery of programs, on time and on budget, and will be a key resource in expanding and developing CGI’s State Department vertical as well. You will be responsible for developing strategy and future opportunities, including research and development activities with appropriate customers.

• Bring technical knowledge and delivery capability, be responsible for bringing solutions and thought leadership to our clients, work well in collaborative environments, be highly motivated by delivering excellent services to our clients and ensuring their satisfaction;
• Will lead a team of consultants for proposals to create business solutions based on client business requirements and will take accountability for the winning of competitive proposals and the successful executions of assignments, projects and large delivery programs coordinating with local and global delivery centers;
• Develop and lead a staff of highly skilled consultants who focus on delivery excellence, innovative problem solving and the application of technology to clients’ business problems.
• Ensure success of engagements using delivery and vendor partners
• Manage client satisfaction in partnership with account management and project teams
• Apply management best practices such as risk reviews, succession planning, member performance reviews, and project financial management
• Contribute to business strategy and budget planning
• Manage profitability of engagements
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 10 to 15 years of experience in federal / management consulting
• Background in federal budgeting preferred, to include budget planning, formulation, and execution.
• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required
• An INTERIM SECRET security clearance is required to begin employment; and thereafter a SECRET security clearance must be maintained for the duration of employment
