Lenovo is looking for a service process architecture leader to design and build professional and managed services offerings, focused on cloud implementation, management, and automation. You will drive a research and business development agenda within Lenovo and will be a key influencer of Lenovo’s service offering strategy for cloud infrastructure. As a technical leader, you will be a pragmatic visionary that can understand and translate business and Customer needs into workable technology solutions and end-to-end service processes.

Responsibilities
• Design key components of Lenovo’s cloud infrastructure portfolio, focusing on professional and managed services for cloud infrastructure including OpenStack and open-source software
• Define and build tools for cloud implementation, management, and IT automation
• Manage technical projects and drive innovation, operating at both the tactical and strategic levels
• Lead PoCs (proof of concept) of emerging technologies and services toolsets
• Work collaboratively with Product Managers, architects, analysts, and application developers to ensure solutions meet requirements and are extensible long-term
• Communicate status, risks, and offer mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery of all committed projects to cross-functional teams and senior management
• Present periodic updates to executives and senior management
Position Requirements
• BS or MS degree in CS/EE or related field
• 10+ years service process and toolset development experience
• Strong technical skills in Open Source and cloud technologies, such as OpenStack, and experience building or using IT Automation tools
• 8+ years relevant experience leading large, global, fast-paced, and dynamic technical projects
• Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Black Belt preferred
• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically to achieve results
• Solid working knowledge of traditional enterprise software stack, including VMware and Microsoft, as well as emerging technologies such as Containers, Hadoop, etc
• Agile, proactive, and comfortable working with ambiguous specifications
• Analytical skills and ability to make data-based and fact-based decisions
• Ability to work with culturally diverse teams in multiple locations and multiple time zones
• Excellent oral and written communications skills, including executive presentation skills
• Bi-lingual English and Mandarin preferred
• Ability to travel to various meetings or client sites, including overnight trips. Some international travel may be required. Total travel approximately 10-15%.
