We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Product Marketing team in Andover, Massachusetts.

The Clinical Excellence team is a critical part of the product/solution team along with the Product Managers and R&D team. Their goal is to ensure products/solutions meet and exceed desired clinical outcomes and human factors/user experience specifications. They are involved in all phases of product/solution development and product lifecycle management. Your team of Clinical Excellence Specialists spends 30-40% of their time in the market with clinicians, supporting clinical trials, field trials, and high priority customer concerns. They spend the rest of their time representing the voice of the clinician in their BU, driving clinically oriented and human factor innovations.

Our offer
Develop and assume responsibility for execution of a strategic plan to establish clinical excellence across Philips PM product lines. In order to achieve this, you will manage a small team of Clinical Excellence Specialists, who have the following responsibilities:
■ Drive clinically-oriented innovations by defining specifications that meet the clinical workflow and operational requirements of clinicians, including the development of advanced clinical decision support tools that help enable goal directed patient care
■ Identify clinical and healthcare economics benefits by designing and executing user trials and clinical trials; translate results of trials into a compelling value proposition (including product/solution claims) that resonates with the clinical end user. Provide ongoing and actionable feedback to the Product Marketing and R&D teams to continuously improve the design of the products/solutions
■ Ensure a consistent and common clinical user experience across all elements of the Philips connected patient monitoring system
■ Help train field marketing managers and clinical application specialists on the clinical value proposition of new products/solutions by demonstrating product during launch events
■ Support high priority accounts with clinical product/solution issues when escalated beyond clinical application specialists
■ Represent voice of clinician at PHC by spending time in market gaining a deep understanding of end users’ clinical workflow and operational requirements (30-40% of time in market)

We are looking for
■ Expertise on user and clinical trial design and defining clinical outcomes
■ Ability to synthesize market and customer feedback and existing and new products into solutions; comfortable with making tradeoffs, decisively
■ Expertise delivering complex projects to meet demanding feature, cost, quality and introduction date targets
■ High-tech clinical product launch experience
■ Proven communication skills and ability to influence colleagues
■ Demonstrated leadership of clinical marketing teams with truly global focus
■ Ability to synthesize market and customer feedback on existing and new products into clinically oriented solutions
■ Proven communication skills and ability to influence an organization (especially non-direct reports) to develop solutions with exceptional clinical value propositions
■ Ability to collaborate effectively with product/solution managers and R&D to continually innovate, as well as collaborate, with field marketing managers and key customers
■ Clinical mindset focused on generating clinical outcomes
■ Expertise in clinical customer segments and the national healthcare systems in which they work
■ Understand the dynamics of capital goods marketing and the dynamics of “installed base” marketing
■ Familiarity with the technologies that currently dominate the patient monitoring markets, and with the emerging technologies that will serve them in the future
■ Superior business acumen and GM mindset (position likely to be a rotational role for future GMs)
■ Boldness to create/shape markets whenever possible, exploiting Philips technologies, market positions and brand

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
■ MBA or other master’s degree
■ 12+ years in marketing, product development or related field
■ Strong clinical background, with medical degree or equivalent
■ Experience in high-tech, healthcare/med-tech solutions businesses
■ Expertise in healthcare economics preferred
