SNEI is seeking a Senior Director, Global Marketing, Brand Strategy with a strong background in deploying innovative and integrated brand strategies targeting digital entertainment consumers. This individual will be an integral part of the global marketing team, leading brand strategy, web and CRM marketing for the Sony Entertainment Network brand. This role will work closely with regional product marketing teams, to ensure brand voice and positioning is executed properly through regional marketing channels including web/online, social, retail, PR, and other consumer touchpoints within the PlayStation Network and Sony Entertainment Network ecosystem. This role will also partner with marketing teams across the entire Sony organization to further strengthen and align brand positioning within multiproduct/brand campaigns and programs.

The scope of responsibility will also include the following:

Define and drive the global brand strategy and positioning for Sony Entertainment Network, Video Unlimited and Music Unlimited brands in support of defined business & overall brand objectives.

Direct global web (www.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com) and CRM strategy and initiatives.

Define and communicate all elements of the marketing program for the brand, including advertising, promotions, PR, retail programs, packaging, events, user experience, and media initiatives.

Manage brand positioning, strategic marketing programs and brand roadmaps to best deliver the brand promise to the consumer, while maximizing financial results.

Provide brand guidance for the organization and assure the brand integrity and consistency globally, which includes developing and maintaining successful partnerships with other Sony companies including Sony Mobile Communications, Sony Electronics, Sony Computer Entertainment, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment.

Establish and deliver on key brand metrics and KPIs, such as awareness, preference, and brand perception.

Collaborate with regional marketing teams to develop marketing communication strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition (e.g., account registrations, free trials) and ecommerce monetization (e.g., digital content sales, paid subscriptions).

Conduct comprehensive market and product analysis and brand tracking research to monitor and understand marketplace trends and consumer sentiment.

Desired Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree required. Concentration in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred. MBA or other advanced degree a plus.

Strong management skills, comprehensive experience managing and mentoring individuals and teams.

At least 10+ years of professional marketing experience with proven track record of success at a leading interactive or ecommerce company.

Strong understanding of the video games, movie and/or music business.

Excellent quantitative and analytical skills as well as strong creative intuition.

Is a team player, adept at building relationships across organizations.
