Group Director - Web Marketing - Cadence Design Systems - San Jose


Job description

The Group Director of Web Marketing is responsible for leading the creation and delivery of online marketing communications and direct marketing efforts, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand image in alignment with the corporate brand guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to, corporate websites, customer forums and knowledgebase, marketing automation, online press and investor relations sites.

Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Marketing, the Group Director of Web Marketing manages a team of web producer talent, back-end developers, and external agencies, and collaborates with creative and editorial teams as necessary to deliver brand standards, campaigns, and associated marketing activities and deliverables. To be effective in representing the Cadence brand and messaging, the scope for this position also includes search engine optimization, marketing automation, sales enablement tools, and video/multimedia. Excellent communication and a high degree of cross-functional collaboration is required to align brand strategies, marketing communications programs, and campaigns with Cadence corporate/product strategies to meet aggressive business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Manage corporate web properties for key content delivery, sales support and messaging including sales tools

• Ensure all marketing communications messaging and online/multimedia collateral is consistent with established branding goals

• Deliver world-class marketing communications across all interactive marketing channels supporting Cadence campaign initiatives

• Manage web marketing team in planning and executing internal and external tactical plans

• Operations process management and continuous improvement

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications
• 12+ years experience in management of enterprise-class web operations: infrastructure, applications development, content production
• Knowledge of all aspects of web development: information architecture, web design, user experience, rich media, and social media
• Experienced with Web site performance analytics and Search Engine Optimization
• Highly collaborative, perceptive, an analytical problem solver; exhibits strategic and creative agility
• Ability to manage, mentor, and grow internal teams
• Excellent communication/interpersonal/conflict resolution skills
