This Business Development Director position is responsible for growing the pipeline of sales opportunities at their assigned customer for new aircraft / helicopter / ground vehicle / UAV, launch vehicle, etc. models, refresh on existing platforms with a focus on displacing competitors and tracking this pipeline through SFDC. This position requires extensive breadth, knowledge and experience within the assigned D&S customer. The Customer Business Development Director will be assigned to and positioned at the customer’s location.

The Customer Business Development Director will be Honeywell’s representative at the assigned customer and will build strong relationships on both the technical and executive level that will position Honeywell for long term positive relationships within the assigned customer. The Customer Business Development Director will be an expert in assigned customer platforms, Honeywell content, Honeywell capabilities and in doing so will understand the business and competitive environment with those customers and will be able to identify short term and long short term growth opportunities for Honeywell.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s Degree. In lieu of Bachelor’s Degree, minimum of 15 years Aerospace industry, product customer knowledge will be considered
Minimum of 8 years Aerospace industry, product customer knowledge
Minimum of 5 years Sales leadership / Customer management experience with a track record of driving revenue growth
WE VALUE
Master’s degree preferred
Previous Military Service or Government employee beneficial
Strong business acumen
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
