RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build a first class test engineering team by hands-on talent recruiting and mentoring.
Work with engineering and production teams to develop test solutions for design qualification and production testing of modern avionics.
Standardize the avionics test development process and documentation including requirements and test cases generation.

Oversee the sustaining engineering and improvement of current test products.
Ensure test projects are staffed and schedules are maintained. Report project status to peers and upper management regularly.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science degree in electrical or computer engineering with at least 10 years of cumulative engineering experience.
At least 5 years of experience in engineering management and leadership experience including engineering talent recruiting and hiring.
At least 5 years of experience as an individual contributor in electronics test system hardware and software development.
Experience creating custom test applications using Python, LabVIEW or other software tools.
Knowledge of electronic instrumentation and interfaces including power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, and frequency response analyzers.
Experience with test requirements derivation and design validation.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Master of Science degree or Ph.D. degree in engineering.
Strong understanding of metrology and measurement error.
Experience with National Instruments platforms including DAQmx, TestStand, PXI, and RIO.
Experience with environmental testing including random vibration, shock, and thermal vacuum.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
May require working extended hours and weekends as needed.
