We’re looking for an experienced and visionary creative director to join our Marketing team and lead a talented group of copywriters and brand designers. In this role, you will work to elevate Vimeo’s beloved brand and lead the creative marketing efforts that support the Creator Platform—which serves filmmakers, businesses, and video lovers around the globe. This role reports into the Head of Marketing.

What you'll do:
Work closely with our Head of Marketing to establish workflows, processes, and standards for developing all of the Creator Platform’s brand and marketing assets
Be responsible for keeping the creative team on track and delivering on-schedule and within budget
Craft and lead the creative team in executing compelling campaigns for our core marketing segments and the Vimeo community at large
Develop new strains of our brand identity that speak to our diverse and ever-growing audience of video uploaders, including professional filmmakers, brands and small businesses
Collaborate daily with teams across Vimeo, including Marketing, Product, Engineering, Community, Biz Dev, and beyond
Strengthen the Vimeo brand for creators and push it in new and captivating directions
Skills & knowledge you should possess:
Have 8+ years of experience leading creative teams for brands in-house or at an agency
Have a B.A. in Graphic Design (Master’s Degree is a plus) and an extensive background in art direction
Be familiar with the Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, and other digital design tools
Experience working with top project management platforms – i.e. Asana, Github, etc.
Maintain a healthy obsession with creating and advocating for brand identity guidelines
Excellent presentation skills with the ability to defend creative direction to senior leadership
Video production/filmmaking experience a plus
